This Cookie Policy explains how PropertyPath uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on property-path.com, our mobile web app, and native shells that load the same site. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What are cookies and similar tech?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. We also use localStorage / sessionStorage (browser storage) and, in the progressive web app (PWA), a service worker cache for offline shells. These tools help keep you signed in, remember preferences, and improve performance and security.

3. Types we use

4. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data from cookies to data brokers.
- We do not use advertising cookies for third-party ad networks on the core product today.
- OTP codes and payment secrets are never stored in analytics cookies.
5. Local storage & PWA
PropertyPath stores session tokens and lightweight state in browser storage so you stay signed in across pages. The service worker may cache HTML/CSS/JS shells for faster loads and limited offline use. Clearing site data in your browser signs you out and removes that cache.
6. Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, and performance (may set technical cookies).
- Convex — backend API (session validated server-side; not a marketing cookie).
- Google Analytics 4 — enabled on marketing pages via measurement ID
G-T8NTDX7MJ8(js/analytics.js) with IP anonymization. Used to understand traffic and improve conversion; not used to invent “live” user counts on the site. - Payment providers (e.g. Pesapal, Mobile Money) — may set their own cookies on their checkout domains; their policies apply there.
To opt out of Google Analytics you may use browser extensions, block third-party scripts, or Google’s tools where available. Essential cookies for login and payments remain required for the product to work.
7. How long data lasts
- Session / auth: until you log out, clear site data, or the server expires the session.
- Preferences: until you change them or clear storage (often months).
- Analytics: per Google’s configuration (typically months; aggregated reporting).
- PWA cache: until a new deploy invalidates the cache or you clear site data.
8. Your choices
- Browser settings — block or delete cookies and site data for property-path.com.
- Private / incognito mode — limits long-term storage.
- Log out — clears the active session token from our app state.
- Analytics blockers — extensions or browser features that block GA still allow essential login.
If you block all storage, login, wallet, and saved search features will not work reliably.
9. Children
The service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly use cookies to profile minors.
10. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our stack or law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change; material updates may also be noted in-product.
